Hello,
I would like to welcome you to Machol Miami 2010. Machol Miami 2010 will start on Friday, December 24 at 2PM and
conclude on Monday December 27 at 1PM. There will be a "before" party to
have an informal get together and welcome the choreographers on Thursday,
December 23, and an "after" party to say good-bye on Monday December 27.
Both optional Israeli dance sessions, with the choreographers, will be in the JCC.
They promise to be full of fun and
high energy - don't miss them!
We are excited to have two creative, energetic
choreographers who will be joining us direct from Israel. Dudu
Barzilay is a loved and familiar face at Machol Miami, sharing his
talent with us for the fourth time. Yaron Malichi, an exciting rising
star, will be in the circle for the first time. Both
choreographers are known for the energy and elegance of their dances,
and we are delighted to have them together on our stage.
We will be coming back to the Sheraton, which gets rave reviews
from our participants every year. With their recent renovations and change
of management they provide a luxurious tropical hideaway, where we can give
ourselves to being pampered, dancing and having fun.
The wonderful dance floor that we used in 2009 is coming back in
2010. This is the best dance floor that we have seen, and Machol Miami
dancers deserve the best. The floor is suspended on a sturdy frame, so it
has some flexibility, and as you dance you are essentially floating on air.
It is up to the highest standards of dance floor construction and is used in
major international dance competitions.
This year we will be using the same gourmet
glatt Kosher
catering service which we used in 2009. This is one of the best
caterers in South Florida, and they prove that Kosher food can be
delicious, varied and interesting. They are
specialists in catering for large events in luxury condominiums and
other major venues, and we expect them to deliver their best creations
for you. Prepare to have your taste buds singing! The food service
will be provided by the Sheraton, up to the high international standard
that we have become accustomed to, with uniformed, well trained,
efficient servers.
We are working to fit other parts of the jigsaw
as well and will let you know
the details soon. Of one thing you can be certain - we will do all we can
to make you delighted, excited and content.
